Why You Should Leave Your Comfort Zone

Add Comment

"You never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone; change begins at the end of your comfort zone."
― Roy T. Bennett

It can be easy to fall into a routine and get comfortable with the way things are. If your life and work are good, why change them and risk things getting worse?

Breaking out of your comfort zone is hard but it is a good thing for you. It can make you achieve great things by forcing you to push the boundaries. It is the state where your mental productivity and performance reach your peak and you find it easier to brainstorm and harness your creativity in future.

Pushing yourself beyond your comfort zone doesn’t have to be extreme, like taking on a project that you’re unprepared for or jumping out of an airplane.
But it is the zone where you become more alert, productive, and your skills increase. If the discomfort and anxiety is too high, you’re not productive and may just shut down.
So keep your focus "ON"

The benefits of getting out of your comfort zone can linger but there is an overall self-improvement you get through the skills that you are learning. Everyone’s comfort one is different but it can help you to bring out your best especially when it comes to business.

Following are the reasons that you should get out of your comfort zone.

Challenging yourself can help you perform at your peak.

Stepping outside one's comfort zone is an important, and almost universal, factor in personal growth. How can we expect to evolve in our lives and careers if we only stick to habit and routine? Reaching new heights involves the risk of attempting something we might not succeed at.

It broadens your perspective:

As an entrepreneur, you may have been working on a particular area. This makes you ignore the things that you know are not going to work for the kind of projects you are working on. This can however be an entrepreneur’s biggest mistake. The limited thinking can either lead you to achieving something that is being done over the years in the same way to achieve same results. But it can blind you with more exciting ways of performing your work that could yield much better results.

Risk-taking:

Getting out of the comfort one requires you to take risks. For a startup, the strength lies in its ability to be nimble and agile and to come up with solutions in unique ways. Risks make your work more exciting and unique in ways that make a big difference when it comes to customers.

Trying new things can make you more creative

Creativity is innately risky -- when we share creative work, we open ourselves up to vulnerability and possible rejection. At the same time, risking failure increases the possibility of great creative achievement. Seriously. Think of all the things you've never tried. How can there not be tons of wonderful activities on that list! You might discover something you love.

You will be proud that you took the leap.

We all stand a little taller with the pride of a new accomplishment. You can make that happen far more frequently than you are today.

Each milestone makes it easier to tackle another milestone.

Success breeds more success thanks to the confidence, experience, learning, and determination it inspires.

You will be more promotable and/or will earn more money.

Those who are willing to step up to challenges and take some risks earn respect and promotions. Independent professionals must take personal risks to make more money.

As your comfort zone expands, you will see new opportunities previously obscured by barriers of your own making.
Staying in your comfort zone is like wearing blinders. You will tell yourself that all you care about are the things that are already a part of your life. You will continually convince yourself that you dislike the things you've never tried. They just aren't for you. And with every such thought, you erect thicker walls between yourself and everything that makes you uncomfortable. Take some risks and the walls start coming down.

You will become more resilient and prepared for whatever comes your way.

Life can be tough. Things can happen that will yank you right out of your comfortable nest. The more open you are to new possibilities, the more diverse your experiences, and the more confident you are in your ability to face new situations, the more resilient you will be.

It brings success:

One of the biggest reasons that you should get out of your comfort zone is that the people who encourage their companies to take risks, they attain huge success. Most of the people, who are a reason behind the success of any company or startup, are the risk takers. Their thinking breaks all the traditional norms of doing things and their uniqueness mushes them to think forward.

Last but not least :-  Having Mentor in your Life

Often, it’s easier to take the steps to break outside of our comfort zone with a mentor or support team. If you know someone who can help you and encourage you along the way, they can make these changes seem less daunting. They can also introduce you to things you never would have thought of on your own. Having someone to mentor you can also help hold you accountable and keep you from slipping back into your comfort zone.

Top 10 Quotes Which Inspire Me Everyday and Reason Why you should NeverGiveUp

In order to be successful at anything in life, you need to first believe that you deserve to be. So for that you need to love yourself.

Loving others is easy. Loving yourself is the hard part OR so we often think. Ability to do what needs to be done, without influence from other people or situations. People with self motivation can find a reason and strength to complete a task, even when challenging, without giving up or needing another to encourage them.

A good way to be continuously self-motivated is to implement something like these 5 steps which I follow:-
1.      Stay Positive. See the good in bad.
2.      Know yourself. Keep notes on when your motivation sucks and when you feel like a superstar.
3.      Stop Over thinking. Just do.
4.      Keep good company. Make more regular encounters with positive and motivated people.
5.      Start simple and Keep learning. Read and try to take in everything you can. The more you learn, the more confident you become.

Many of us find ourselves in motivational slumps that we have to work to get out of. Sometimes it’s like a continuous cycle where we are motivated for a period of time, fall out and then have to build things back up again.
Here are my Top 10 Quotes Which Inspire Me Everyday and Reason Why you should NeverGiveUp in your life.

       Lucille Ball

6.      "Never make someone a priority when all you are to them is an option."

Habits of Highly Successful People

In this blog post I will show you some of my habits which helped me to become more successful.

So lets do this.

Before we start some pro-tips and some TO-DO List :-

1x1 - Habits are who you are
What is a habit? A habit is something you do daily without thinking much about it. You probably have a habit of waking at a certain time, brushing your teeth a certain way, and perhaps calling your mom once a week on a Tuesday night. Habits become such a part of your routine that they become who you are. Want to be a different person? Just start a new habit!

1x2 - You can change your habits
The nice thing about habits is that you can change them. Old habits may be hard to break — it seems that the worst habits are the hardest to break — but it is possible. If you want to start eating healthier, all you have to do is skip your morning donut until it becomes second nature to turn down pastries at breakfast.

1x3 Good habits allow you to reach your goals
If you wanted to become a marathon runner, you wouldn’t just jump into the first marathon offered by your city. It takes months or years of training to become fit enough to compete in a marathon race.
Be patient. Great things take time and EMPIRES aren't built in a day.
Step one of reaching any goal is establishing a daily habit. If you want a better job, you must start the daily habit of looking for work. If you want to be able to lift 300 pounds, you must start the daily habit of lifting weights and so on..

Lets learn some  great habits of highly successful people.

I have list down 15 Habits of Highly Successful People.

1. Set goals
Once they visualize their success(long term goal) then they set consistently short term goals to achieve the long term goals.

2. Daily to-do list
They value their time and to do list. They keep a to-do list and keep a track on their work and life through to-do list. There are 525,600 minutes in a year. They spend their time being productive.

3. Listen before speaking
The greatest speaker has the audacity to listen, and highly successful people are great speaker because of the habit of listening. They believe in “You have two ears and only one mouth.” There's a reason for that.

4. View challenges as opportunities
They sees problems as opportunities for improvement. They grow and lead to better things, both within organization and in life. Highly successful people embrace and get the best from the challenges.

5. Stay humble
For them humility matters. They are very nice and confident, but they don't boast or brag. They always stay humble.

6.Visualizing Success
Highly successful people visualize their success -first and then they follow that path. The greatest example is Jim Carry. It’s the entire creation process that manifests your desires, says Jim. Successful people believe in it and take action towards their desire.

7. Celebrate progress
One little win everyday and 365 every year. Isn’t that awesome? Highly successful people celebrate progress every day by achieving their short term goals.

8. Understand the strengths
They are self-aware and know what they are good at. Self-Awareness is their most important attribute. They accept their weaknesses and focus all of their attention on their strengths.

9. Figure out their why
Highly successful people have things in common : they know WHY they do what they do. Having that WHY factor is a major determinant of a successful person’s life. They know the purpose and actively emulate upon this by reminding themselves everyday.

10. Meditate
A secret weapon of top-performers in business, elite athletes and individuals creating breakthrough results in their lives is meditation. They make better choices by being more focused. By seeing things more clearly they spot opportunities quicker.

11. Exercise
They work out first thing in the morning – then what should get done gets done. Perfect. Successful people know Exercise is one of the finest productivity tools ever created, why not use it more often within a day to get more valuable things.

12. Drink water
They keep them hydrated. (PS: Coffee is not their last option)

13. Reading
They are hungry for learning. Always curious. And keep raising their bar.

14. Be-positive (+ve)
I truly believe that everything that we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. There are no accidents; we're all teachers - if we're willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks or wait for some miracle to come knocking at our door.
Remember Every day brings new choices and You cannot have a positive life and a negative mind.

15. Help without expectation
One of the greatest gifts you can bestow upon another. If someone is in need, lend them a helping hand. Do not wait for a thank you. True kindness lies within the act of giving without the expectation of something in return. Remember A friend who offers help without asking for explanations is a treasure beyond price.

This is my small effort to add extra value in your life. I hope I succeeded in delivering that message.
If yes then do "Share" this message.

PS: You help others "GOD" will help you back :-)

Pro Tips to Build a Business While Working a Day Job

Add Comment

This blog post is for those who dream about to start their own business, Many people dream of leaving their nine-to-five jobs to start their own businesses. Many successful entrepreneurs had to keep their day jobs until they reached a point in their businesses when it was feasible to quit. This transition time can be stressful and difficult, especially when you don’t enjoy your job, but it doesn’t have to be.

Maintaining your motivation and drive during your transition from employee to entrepreneur is crucial. It’s easy to veer off course and get discouraged during this transitional phase.

Here are some actions you can start taking immediately while you’re still at your day job that will keep you on track and moving forward.

1. Reason for starting your business.

"How”, "Why”, "If" this is the most important words when you think about of something. Whatever your reason, knowing what motivates and drives you is what will keep you focused and committed to your dream when times get difficult. Finalizing your "Target" after thinking about different milestone
you need to give it a try.

2. Create a personal vision for your business.

Think about what you want in your business a year from now and write it down. Be very specific and detailed. Describe in great detail in the present tense your ideal day, what activities you engage in, who your customers/clients are, how many customers/clients you have and what your monthly income is.

Read your vision aloud every morning and evening, focusing completely on the end result -- your vibrant, flourishing business. By keeping your focus on the result, you will be able to make the day-to-day choices to ignore any negative thoughts that may arise.

3. Commit yourself to your dream.

Having the desire for something to work vs. committing to it are vastly different. When you commit to your dream, you are making a binding obligation to see it through to success. It means you are “all in,” you find solutions when faced with obstacles and you don’t quit, no matter what. Make that pledge to yourself, and then tell the people in your life.

4. Immerse yourself in learning.

Research and study anything you can find that is pertinent to your business.
The Ever green Internet provides an abundance of valuable information on building a successful business.
Take courses, hire a coach or find a mentor. Listen to podcasts or audiobooks OR Video during your morning commute. The more you learn and become an expert in your area, the more self-assured, motivated and successful you will be.

5. Stay positive about your day job.
Every day, acknowledge something you appreciate about your job. Perhaps you enjoy your co-workers or always having holidays off. Maybe it’s just the free coffee or your comfortable chair.
The point is to look for the good things.

The more you focus on what is positive about your current situation, the more success you will bring to all situations, including your business. Negative thoughts drain your energy, making it far more difficult to move forward with your dream.

6. Set daily goals.

Take small, measurable action steps each day toward your business, understanding there will be times when it seems like you are making no progress at all. Much of the work, in the beginning, will be tedious day-to-day tasks. Realize it is all part of building your business. By taking steps each day, which includes doing the mundane, you will start seeing results. The more progress you make, the more confidence and determination you have to keep moving forward.
By taking these actions while still working your day job, you will stay focused, motivated and committed to making your dream a reality. It will also make the time spent at your job seem to go by faster.

"How”, "Why”, "If" this is the most important words when you think about of something. Whatever your reason, knowing what motivates and drives you is what will keep you focused and committed to your dream when times get difficult. Finalizing your "Target" after thinking about different milestone you need to give it a try.

Last but most important  point

7. Join a mastermind group.

"Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher."

A mastermind group is a peer-to-peer mentoring group that meets regularly to support each other, brainstorm ideas and share advice and work through challenges together. A mastermind group can be excellent for helping you stay accountable and motivated.

There are mastermind groups that meet in person, online or on the phone. To find a mastermind group, Meetup is a great place to start. If you cannot find one to join, then create your own with people who are also starting a business.

There are two types of people that you can surround yourself with:-
1] Those who lift you higher and
2] Those who drag you down.
  • If you spend your time with those who are trying to drag you down to their level then you should not be surprised when you do not fulfill your true potential in life.
  • Having those who lift you up around you will inspire and motivate you, and this also has mental and physical health benefits as well. A positive frame of mind leads to better mental and physical health, and your days are filled with positive thoughts instead of negative emotions. A strong support system is critical, and keeping positive people around you who brighten your day and improve your mood make you far more likely to be successful and well adjusted.

The decisions that you make in life will impact your happiness and your future, so it is important to make the right choices in life. Examine each relationship, that you have and then decide whether this person enriches your life or just adds negativity instead. Happiness is contagious, and so are negative emotions. Some people are optimistic and others are pessimistic.

Make a choice to surround yourself with people who view the glass as half full rather than those who see it as half empty. Either way there is a half a glass of liquid, but those who see it as being half full will also see the rest of the world in a more positive and upbeat way as well.

“Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.”

YES! WE CAN LIVE A HEALTHY LIFE BEING A VEGETERIAN

Add Comment

Being a "Gujarati" myself OR you can say being a "Pure Vegetarian" we often come across these dreadly questions which definitely seems to be of utmost importance to people. This blog post will serve as an answer to all those fiascos, but first let’s listen out to those questions first.

How will you build muscles? You are a vegetarian, right? From where will you get your proteins?
OR
Oh so you are a vegetarian, but you do eat chicken, right? What? Not even eggs? How are you alive?
OR
What do you order when you go to restaurants? Just the ghaas phoos (common slang for leafy vegetables)?
OR
Ohh! So Paneer (cottage cheese) must be chicken for you, right?

There’s nothing wrong with eating flesh but only if you’re doing so in moderation, but research does show that vegetarians tend to be healthier overall, and even live longer.

Here are some other reasons vegetarians may outlive meat-lovers.

1. Low blood pressure

2. Lower risk of death

3. Less mood swings

4. Lesser chance of heart disease

5. Lower risk of cancer

6. Lower risk of diabetes

7. Less likely to be overweight

8. Lesser chance of heart disease

Hence, these are the few reasons why many people tend to be vegetarian instead, other than their religious sentiments. Also producing vegetarian food is more ecologically sustainable, and it even reduces damage to the environment. Many people also stop eating flesh for ideological, ethical, or religious reasons.

For the sake of awareness- “A vegetarian diet doesn’t necessarily lead to weight loss – until and unless you are starving yourself” says Tallmadge. The only important thing for vegetarians to remember is to make sure they are getting enough of the key nutrients including
- Protein
- Fatty acids
- Iron
- Zinc
- Iodine
- Calcium and vitamins D and B-12.

Moreover, there are many vegetarian products which are available in market for those who are often busy or do not feel confident about their cooking skills which include ready meals, vegetarian burgers, and sausages. Most restaurants now offer pure vegetarian options too. However, people who cook their own food can be sure of the quality of ingredients they use, also becoming a vegetarian may encourage people to improve their cooking skills.

We just have to make sure the food which we are eating gives us the wholesome diet required. Don't just focus on starches like grains, potatoes or breads which a lot of vegetarians do. Focus on eating a fresh, whole-food diet, with plenty of green vegetables with fresh juice everyday, which is a great way to get more vitamins into our system. Vegetarianism is not as hard as people think, but in order to do it right, it does take some research and strong commitment to make wise food choices.

Moral Of the Story :-
  • Animals have soul just like humans.
  • You can get the protein by eating vegetarian food like cottage cheese, lentils etcetera.
  • Patrik Baboumian :-  An Armenian German, says he has gained strength and a better ability to recover since making the switch to become a Vegetarian! So why not you?
  • Yes, you will not die without eating non vegetarian food for sure, we are living examples of it XD
So Next time if anyone asks you this question "How can you live without Non-veg" then you know exactly what to answer them.

For GYM Goers and Protein lover.

Well here is a video which serves as a good comeback for all these MYTHS.
